Collects and interprets criminal activity statistics that will assist the agency members in the course of their duties within the guidelines of the Criminal Code of Georgia, federal statutory law, procedural laws, department directives, standard operating procedures, and county ordinances. Collects and analyzes information regarding criminal activity to provide strategic and tactical intelligence products to assist in deploying resources and planning operational activities in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations. Provide support to agency administration in reporting crime trends and alerts throughout the agency and to other law enforcement agencies. Reports to Crime Intel Supervisor or other designated person and works with the general public, business representatives, judges, attorneys, health care representatives, co-workers, and law enforcement representatives from federal, state, and local agencies to provide analytical law enforcement support.

Prepares reports detailing crime using variables of time and location.
Analyzes monthly crime statistics to identify crime trends.
Prepares crime analysis reports for use in the decision-making process for administrators and supervisors.
Coordinates the gathering, analysis, and dissemination of information through the intelligence process.
Studies crime trends for use in manpower deployment.
