Firehouse Subs® Is hiring in Clairemont Mesa Blvd., We're looking for talented candidates to join our family at Firehouse Subs® Restaurant. Part-time positions are available. A Team Member must understand the importance of the customer experience and understand that they are the “Face” of Firehouse Subs. We are real people serving awesome sandwiches to real people.
Compensation: $20/hr
(Additionally, receive team tips averaging another $2.00 per hour!)
Essential Functions include:
- Deliver friendly, fast and accurate service to every guest.
- Maintain a positive, professional and welcoming attitude.
- Learn and maintain strong knowledge of the Firehouse Subs menu, products and procedures.
- Prepare guest orders accurately and according to Firehouse Subs quality and portion standards.
- Communicate clearly with guests and handle questions or concerns professionally.
- Work effectively as part of a team and support teammates during busy periods.
- Be willing to work all assigned stations, including register, food preparation, meat slicing, dining room and cleaning.
- Maintain a clean, organized, stocked and sanitary workstation throughout the shift.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation and workplace safety procedures.
- Complete opening, closing, cleaning and restocking duties as assigned.
- Participate in Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation fundraising initiatives.
- Show appreciation to every guest and help create a positive overall experience.
- Follow direction from Shift Leaders, Assistant Managers and the General Manager.
- Be dependable, punctual and ready to work at the start of each scheduled shift.
- Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and complete tasks without repeated reminders.
- Assist with other restaurant duties as needed to support smooth store operations.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 25 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
Additional Requirements:
• Computer skills including some Microsoft software and register skills
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and scoop throughout assigned shift
• Ability to be mobile in walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F
