The role of a Backup Delivery Driver includes working in store until deliveries back up, at which point they will transition to delivery driving. This is a decision at the managers discretion, however there is almost always a need for an employee who is able to perform the duties of an in shop worker, while also being able to delivery drive. Each role is compensated accordingly. Delivery drivers are currently making between $17-$21 per hour including their hourly wage, mileage reimbursement and tips.
Jimmy John's Delivery Driver's goal is to get that sandwich in the customer's hand as quick as can be. We do this by learning the most efficient route, double checking orders to ensure everything is accounted for, and hustling on our feet (while always being safe and law abiding while on the street). Drivers take home cash everyday.

Delivery is a customer service job, so following customer's request and doing it with a smile can lead to more successful days!

Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a vehicle, valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a clean driving record
- Drive safe and obey the rules of the road
- Adheres to the Jimmy John's Dress Code
- Must be able to take phone orders for delivery and pickup
- At times will need to bag delivery orders ensuring all requested products are included
