Wolverine Building Group is looking for a Lead Carpenter to help lead other carpenters on our Self-Perform Trade teams supporting projects throughout West Michigan.
The Carpenter III Crew Leader performs various trade work, including rough and finish carpentry, doors and hardware, steel stud setting, metal finishes, siding, and general trade specialties. This role involves supervising crews and being self-sufficient as a foreman in any of the listed areas. Proficient in reading architectural, structural, and shop drawings, the Crew Leader ensures safety and incident reporting procedures are followed, notifying the Foreman, Supervisor, Safety, or Human Resources as needed.

Requirements:
Must have reliable, consistent transportation.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Minimum of ten (10) years construction experience in rough and finish carpentry.
The following trainings are required (and provided by Wolverine):
OSHA 10-Hour certified or completed within six months of hire.
First Aid and CPR certified or completed within six months of hire.
Already or willing to become trained in:
Licensed on equipment.
Heavy machinery operator cards are highly recommended.
Certification in welding and power actuated tools are a plus.
Organized, with exceptional time management skills, the ability to plan and multitask in order to meet deadlines.
