The Crew Chief (Senior Survey Field Technician) will serve in a lead capacity on field survey crews, responsible for conducting field measurements, verifying project data, and ensuring quality and efficiency in day-to-day operations. This position is suited for professionals with a solid background in construction layout, topographic surveys, and land boundary surveys who are ready to take ownership of fieldwork and support engineering and design teams with reliable data.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead survey field crews in the collection of data necessary for design, mapping, and construction activities.
- Record detailed field measurements using field books, sketches, and electronic data collectors.
- Conduct calculations to support accurate field surveying and construction layout.
- Interpret and apply construction plans, drawings, and specifications in field operations.
- Prepare construction cutsheets and documentation aligned with project standards.
- Utilize modern survey equipment and field software to complete data collection and stakeout tasks.
- Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with quality control standards during field execution.

Key Requirements:

- 4-6 years of professional field surveying experience, with increasing responsibility.
- Proven ability to supervise field operations and direct survey crew members.
- Strong technical proficiency with contemporary survey field software and hardware.
- Demonstrated capability to read and interpret construction plans and documentation.
- Proficient in performing construction stakeout and related calculations.

Key Qualifications:

- Strong math skills relevant to field surveying tasks.
