    Job Description
    • We are seeking a skilled Creo Mechanical Design Engineer to support the design, development, and prototyping of next generation Broad Band Plasma (BBP) wafer inspection systems. This role will focus on developing high precision optomechanical assemblies and mechanisms for advanced semiconductor inspection equipment.
    • The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in precision mechanical design, Creo CAD modeling, mechanism development, and hands-on prototype testing, along with experience collaborating with cross functional engineering teams and core suppliers.
     Responsibilities
    • Design, develop, and prototype precision optomechanical assemblies and mechanisms for next generation BBP wafer inspection systems.
    • Drive mechanical design activities from concept development and feasibility assessment through detailed design, prototype build, testing, qualification, and release.
    • Develop complex 3D CAD models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings using **Creo (Pro/ENGINEER)**.
    • Perform precision mechanism development, including actuator selection, tolerance analysis, lifetime evaluation, optics mounting, alignment, and adjustment mechanism design.
    • Conduct engineering analyses, including thermal and structural simulations; experience with flow analysis is a plus.
    • Perform CAE/FEA simulations using tools such as **ANSYS** to evaluate design performance and reliability.
    • Collaborate with Systems, Optical, Electrical, and Software Engineering teams to derive subsystem requirements, define interfaces, and conduct design reviews.
    • Work closely with core suppliers to support component development, design feasibility, and engineering requirements.
    • Support prototype assembly, integration, functional testing, troubleshooting, and design validation.
    • Qualify and release mechanism designs in accordance with engineering and system requirements.
    • Provide hands-on engineering support for onsite manufacturing, assembly, and integration activities.
    • Drive design improvements to ensure precision, reliability, performance, and manufacturability.
    Required Experience
    • Strong experience in mechanical design and product development of complex equipment, precision mechanisms, or electromechanical systems.
    • Hands on experience with **Creo / ProE** for 3D modeling, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings.
    • Experience in precision mechanism development and optomechanical design.
    • Strong understanding of actuator selection, tolerance stack up analysis, GD&T, and mechanical lifetime evaluation.
    • Experience with optics mounting, alignment, and adjustment mechanisms.
    • Hands on experience with prototype development, testing, troubleshooting, and design qualification.
    • Experience collaborating with cross functional engineering teams and external suppliers.
    • Experience supporting manufacturing, assembly, and engineering design release.
    Preferred Skillsets
    • CAE/FEA experience in thermal and structural simulation.
    • ANSYS experience preferred.
    • Flow analysis / CFD experience is a plus.
    • Experience in semiconductor capital equipment, wafer inspection, metrology, optical systems, or other precision equipment.
    • Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
    • Strong understanding of precision engineering, materials, and manufacturing processes.
     Education
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
