Key Responsibilities for the Credit Specialist:

• 
  
• Review and evaluate customer credit applications and establish credit limits
• 
  
• Monitor customer accounts and assess credit risk
• 
  
• Manage collections activities and follow up on outstanding balances
• 
  
• Resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues in a timely manner
• 
  
• Maintain accurate customer account records and credit files
• 
  
• Analyze aging reports and recommend collection strategies
• 
  
• Partner with sales and customer service teams to address account concerns
• 
  
• Assist with cash applications, account reconciliations, and reporting as needed
• 
  
• Ensure compliance with company credit and collection policies
• 
  

Qualifications for the Credit Specialist:

• 
  
• 2+ years of experience in credit, collections, accounts receivable, or related accounting functions
• 
  
• Strong understanding of credit and collection best practices
• 
  
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• 
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• 
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems
• 
  
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
