Credit Analyst opportunity with a growing community Bank. The Credit Analyst supports front-end deal vetting, financial spreading, annual-review discipline, early-warning analysis, and recurring and ad hoc reporting.
The
Credit Analystis
responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include:- Spread and analyze financial statements, tax returns, and property documents to support preliminary deal vetting and underwriting.
- Prepare credit presentations, annual reviews, modifications, and portfolio-monitoring reports while maintaining accurate review schedules.
- Manage active assignments efficiently and collaborate cross-functionally to improve data quality, workflow, and decision speed.
- Support ad hoc credit and finance projects (e.g., stress-testing, forecasting) and develop responsible AI use cases for data extraction and reporting.
- Maintain clear, audit-ready workpapers by reconciling source information, calculations, and conclusions.
Required qualifications for the position include:- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field with 2+ years of experience in commercial credit, public accounting, or banking finance.
- Strong ability to analyze cash flow, leverage, and repayment capacity with advanced attention to detail and MS Excel proficiency.
- Experience with complex credit structures (CRE, C&I, hospitality), loan origination/spreading systems, and AI tools in a controlled environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory expectations for credit administration, risk ratings, and portfolio monitoring.
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining accurate records and a clear audit trail.
Pay Rate Range: $60,000 - $80,000 for salaried positions
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
