Creative Private Chef for San Francisco Family w/ Kids (Part-Time)

About Us

• Busy, young family in SF seeking a chef who makes mealtimes easy, joyful, and even fun!

• We value balanced, nutritious meals using whole foods and seasonal and organic ingredients.

• Creativity is a bonus! We dont need fancy meals, but a chef who loves to invent unique flavor and ingredient combinations will always have our heart.

Role & Responsibilities

• 1-2 days/week (flexible), ~10–15 hrs total

• Plan weekly menus, shop, cook, and portion meals (mix of fresh + reheatable) for a family of 6

• Rotate creative recipes while honoring staples our family loves

• Incorporate diverse tastes and dietary requirements

• Label, store, and leave simple reheat/serving notes; minimize kitchen cleanup stress

• BONUS: prep lunchboxes with delightful kid-friendly snacks, co-host special occasions like social feasts, or make grab-and-go freezer meals

About You

• 3+ years cooking for private households/families (references preferred)
• Excellent meal planning and time management; efficient shopper and prepper
• Experienced with curating nutrient-dense foods and ingredients and combining them creatively in a diverse meal plan for maximum enjoyment and health benefits

• Calm, professional, and discreet; great communicator with proactive suggestions

• ServSafe/food-handling certs a plus; insured and able to travel to SF neighborhoods
