Creative Director

Humann is looking for a Creative Director to lead the next chapter of our brand and creative expression. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can think big, build strong creative systems, and still loves being close to the work. You'll lead the creative vision across brand, campaigns, digital, performance marketing, retail, packaging, photography, video, and emerging channels - while guiding a talented internal creative team and external partners.

Responsibilities

Own and evolve Humann's creative vision across every consumer touchpoint

Lead concept development for integrated brand and product campaigns, from first idea through final execution

Turn business, marketing, and growth objectives into creative strategy that holds up in a room with leadership

Lead and mentor the internal creative team (designers and copywriters) with clear direction, honest feedback, and real room to grow

Set the art direction for photography, film, motion, and product imagery, and direct the outside partners who produce it

Build creative systems that hold the brand together across a high volume of work and know when to push a system forward rather than protect it

Partner with Marketing, Growth, E-commerce, Retail, Amazon, and Product so the work serves brand building and performance at the same time

Lead creative reviews and give feedback that makes the work stronger

Skills & Knowledge

Exceptional art direction, brand thinking, and campaign development, with strong typography, layout, and visual storytelling

Fluency in digital-first creative: paid social, e-commerce, landing pages, email, and web

Experience directing photography, video, motion, and production

The judgment to say clearly why something is or is not working, and the skill to help someone fix it

Ability to present creative thinking and communicate rationale confidently to senior leadership and cross-functional partners

Ability to hold creative quality across a high volume of simultaneous projects

Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and a project management platform (preferably Wrike)

Requirements

8-12 years in design, advertising, or brand creative at the director or associate director level Experience building or evolving consumer-facing brands Health and wellness, supplements, CPG, fitness, or lifestyle experience Experience working alongside outside agencies Austin or Texas-based candidates highly preferred
