CRATE BUILDER / PACKER – 1ST SHIFT
Goshen | $18/hr starting
Schedule: 4:00 AM–2:30 PM, Monday–Friday + some Saturdays as needed
We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Crate Builder/Packer to build crates, package products, and prepare orders for shipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position requires attention to detail, safe tool use, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build wooden crates according to work orders and specifications.
- Pack and securely prepare products for shipment.
- Apply labels and shipping tags accurately.
- Safely use nail guns, hand tools, and power tools.
- Move and handle materials safely, using team lifting when needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and required PPE.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Reliable attendance and dependable transportation.
- Ability to follow instructions and work orders.
- Comfortable using basic hand and power tools.
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, lift, push, and pull throughout the shift.
- Manufacturing, packaging, woodworking, or crate-building experience preferred but not required.
Training provided.
Required PPE: Safety glasses, gloves, and safety-toe shoes.
