Position Overview


We are seeking an experienced Crane Service Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain overhead cranes and hoists at customer facilities. This role is ideal for a technician with strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills who enjoys working independently in the field while ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.


Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on overhead cranes and hoists

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues

• Assist with new crane installations and equipment upgrades

• Conduct safety inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA, ANSI, and CMAA standards

• Complete accurate service reports and maintenance documentation

• Respond to emergency service calls as needed

• Communicate repair findings and recommendations with customers

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

• Maintain a clean and organized work area and service vehicle

• Perform additional service and maintenance tasks as assigned


Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required

• Minimum of 2 years of experience servicing overhead cranes or industrial equipment preferred

• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills

• OSHA safety training and electrical/mechanical certifications are a plus

• Comfortable working at heights and lifting equipment as required

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites

• Ability to work independently with strong communication and problem-solving skills
