Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Current NCCCO or NCCER Crane Certification preferred.
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred.
  • Ability to pass a DOT Physical Examination.
  • Previous crane operation experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or construction environment preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent safety awareness and attention to detail.

Job Duties

  • Safely operate cranes and lifting equipment to move heavy materials and equipment.
  • Determine load weights and ensure lifts remain within safe operating capacities.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and report or repair minor mechanical issues.
  • Inspect and maintain cables, hooks, pulleys, and lifting accessories.
  • Load and unload trucks while following established safety procedures.
  • Read work schedules and prioritize material movement to support production.
  • Work closely with team members to complete lifts safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards.
