Crane Operator (Local) - Greater Austin Area

Central Texas Steel Erectors is seeking an experienced Crane Operator to join our growing team. We are looking for dependable, safety-focused operators who live in the Greater Austin area and are committed to delivering quality work on structural steel projects.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate hydraulic and crawler cranes on commercial construction projects.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.
- Work closely with steel erection crews, riggers, and project managers.
- Lift and place structural steel safely and efficiently.
- Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Maintain professionalism on every jobsite.
Requirements
- Current NCCCO Crane Operator Certification (or equivalent).
- Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience operating cranes on commercial construction or steel erection projects.
- Must have verifiable experience operating both TLL (Telescopic Lattice Boom Lift) and LBC (Lattice Boom Crawler) cranes.
- Strong understanding of load charts, rigging practices, and jobsite safety.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must reside in the Greater Austin area. We are looking for local candidates only.
