Job Summary


We are seeking a highly skilled Crane & Equipment Repair Technician with a strong background in hydraulics and electrical diagnostics. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing mobile cranes, boom trucks, and heavy material-handling equipment. This position requires a technician capable of performing complex hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting to keep customer equipment operating safely and in strict compliance.


Core Responsibilities
  • Crane Diagnostics & Repair: Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, structural, and control system faults on various mobile cranes and heavy equipment.
  • Electrical Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex 12V/24V DC electrical systems, read wiring schematics, and service electronic control modules (ECMs) or load moment indicators (LMI).
  • Hydraulic Maintenance: Inspect and rebuild high-pressure hydraulic pumps, valves, and cylinders.
  • Safety Inspections: Conduct routine safety and compliance inspections to ensure equipment meets OSHA and ANSI crane standards.
  • Tools: Must supply their own basic hand tools, power tools.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of dedicated heavy equipment and mobile crane repair experience.
  • Electrical Aptitude: Strong ability to read electrical schematics, use digital multimeters, and isolate electrical faults.
  • OEM / Brand Training: Prior factory or brand-specific training from major manufacturers is highly desirable.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work at heights on crane booms and lift heavy components safely.
