The Position:
We are looking for a positive, energetic and experienced Craft Talent Acquisition Specialist with a wide variety of abilities that complement ISC's culture of integrity.
Applicants should have the ability to:
Work closely with HR Management to identify staffing needs, and determine best recruiting practices to attract highly qualified candidates.
Researches and sources candidates through cold calling, referrals, data mining, job boards and internet resources; evaluates resumes, conducts screening interviews to qualify candidates, and presents candidates to management.
Manages the full cycle recruiting process for multiple projects and locations, including extending offers, coordinating all pre-employment requirements (background checks, required medical screening, safety council training), and providing guidance and assistance throughout the onboarding process as needed.
Maintains accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the Applicant Tracking System.
Ensures all recruiting activities comply with ISC company policies and procedures.
Ensures a positive candidate experience from initial contact though onboarding and reporting to the job site.
Provides assistance to Spanish-speaking applicants as needed.
Process HR documentation, data entry and scanning accurately and efficiently.
Maintain thorough knowledge of HR policies and procedures and ensure consistent compliance.
Knowledge of DISA, E-Verify and I-9 completion
Maintains proactive communication with HR management to ensure clarity and alignment on processes and protocols.
Work independently and capable of multi-tasking.
Performs other administrative functions as assigned.
Promotes teamwork; coaches and guides others
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years Industrial Craft Recruiting experience required, ideally with experience recruiting Instrumentation & Electrical personnel
Bilingual: proficient in Spanish is preferred
Must have an understanding of skilled craft positions within the Industrial, Data Centers and Energy Industries
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Must demonstrate confidentiality, strong integrity, honesty and professionalism in all aspects of the role.
Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Professional and presentable dress and appearance.
Willingness to listen, learn and adapt.
Strong attention to detail, sense of urgency, energy and initiative.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Typically has 5+ years' experience with Industrial Construction and/or I&E background
