Craft Bartender

940's Kitchen & Cocktails is looking for an experienced craft bartender who wants to do more than work behind a bar. We're looking for someone who wants to help us build one.

Craft Cocktail Bartender

• Main Focus: The science, history, and artistry behind every drink.
  
• Drink Style: Uses fresh juices, house-made syrups, artisanal ice, and unique garnishes to build complex, custom flavors.
  
• Environment: Found in upscale lounges, speakeasies, and high-end cocktail bars.
  

We have an opportunity to take our bar business to another level, and we're looking for a bartender with the skill, personality, creativity, and drive to help make that happen.

If you know how to make a great cocktail, understand why consistency matters, can handle volume without sacrificing quality, and genuinely enjoy taking care of people, we'd like to meet you.

What You'll Do

• Prepare consistently excellent cocktails with speed, accuracy, and attention to presentation
  
• Provide knowledgeable, personable service to bar guests and restaurant tables
  
• Develop creative seasonal cocktails worthy of a serious craft cocktail program
  
• Follow recipes, specifications, portion standards, and proper bar procedures
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, polished bar throughout every shift
  
• Keep the bar stocked, prepared, and ready for business before the rush arrives
  
• Maintain proper glassware, garnishes, mixers, syrups, juices, and other bar ingredients
  
• Work efficiently under pressure without allowing quality or hospitality to suffer
  
• Learn our food and beverage menus and confidently make recommendations to guests
  
• Help identify opportunities to improve our cocktail program and grow bar sales
  
• Contribute ideas for seasonal menus, promotions, special events, and featured cocktails
  
• Work as part of the restaurant team rather than as an island behind the bar
  

What We're Looking For

• Previous bartending experience in a quality restaurant, cocktail bar, or comparable operation
  
• Strong knowledge of spirits, classic cocktails, proper techniques, and contemporary cocktail trends
  
• The ability to develop balanced, creative cocktails that guests will actually want to order
  
• Excellent speed and accuracy during high-volume periods
  
• Strong organizational habits and attention to cleanliness
  
• A genuine hospitality mindset
  
• Confidence and personality without arrogance
  
• Dependability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic
  
• The ability to work evenings, weekends, and other peak restaurant periods
