Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Accept requests and referrals for services and determine through interviews, home visits and collateral investigations the range of services needed.-Interview clients, evaluate intake information and determine client needs.-Explain the scope of services offered and discuss the client's rights and responsibilities in relation to his/her use of such services.-Assist in planning services appropriate to client's problems, maintain client contact and review and modify plans as necessary.-Prepare studies of individuals and families in need of services and recommend and appropriate course of action.-Maintain accurate and current case records, reports and other types of correspondence.-Attend in-service training and staff development activities.-May speak before community groups on specific social problems and services.-Perform other related duties as required or assigned. Work Requirements: Bachelor's of Social Work degree (BSW) from four-year college or university, preferred; or Bachelor's Degree and one to two years related experience and/or training.-One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.-Requires a valid Wisconsin driver's license and adequate insurance as required by County Policy.
