Country Head of Credit Risk

Ebury Paris Office- Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home per week
This is a key senior role within the Credit Risk function and member of the local leadership team requiring an ambitious individual with the experience and ability to:
The successful candidate will be responsible for all stages of the credit lifecycle from origination through to collection and recovery including liaising with lawyers in the event of litigation, along with supporting the local leadership team in maximising existing and identifying new opportunities to deliver increased shareholder value.
What you'll do
What you'll need
Minimum 7+ years credit underwriting experience, preferably in the SME space in France;
A strong understanding of local accounting principles;
Exposure to collections and litigations processes locally to aid management of distressed clients;
A clear, structured, and concise communication style with the ability to explain complex concepts in a coherent way;
Experience of dealing directly with clients, one on one, and resolving issues;
An understanding of local lending and basic Foreign Exchange products and services;
Experience of building, leading and training effective Credit Risk Management teams and frameworks along with day to day management and monitoring.
