Countertop Installer Helper – NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

No countertop or construction experience? That's OK. We will train the right person.

Delorie Countertops & Doors, Inc. is a family-owned company established in 1999. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking person to join our Vero Beach countertop installation team.

If you're currently working in general labor, landscaping, moving, warehouse work, or another hands-on job and want an opportunity to learn a real skilled trade, this could be the job for you.

You'll work alongside an experienced Lead Installer and receive paid on-the-job training while learning how to professionally install custom countertops.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Assist the Lead Installer with countertop installations
• Load, unload, carry, and position countertop materials
• Help measure, level, secure, and finish countertops
• Learn to safely use hand and power tools
• Protect floors, cabinets, walls, and customer property
• Keep the job site clean and organized
• Work professionally in customers' homes
• Follow instructions and work safely
• Help complete installations correctly and efficiently

NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

We are looking for the right attitude — not a perfect resume.

You don't need countertop experience.

Experience in any hands-on job is helpful, including:

• Construction
• Carpentry
• Cabinet installation
• Flooring or tile
• Remodeling
• Landscaping
• Warehouse
• Moving
• General labor

But even if you don't have this experience, we encourage you to apply if you're reliable and willing to learn.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The most important things are reliability, work ethic, attitude, and willingness to learn.

You should:

• Show up on time every day
• Be dependable and responsible
• Be willing to learn a new trade
• Be comfortable working with your hands
• Be able to safely lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Be able to work on your feet throughout the day
• Follow directions
• Pay attention to detail
• Work well with a Lead Installer
• Treat customers and their homes with respect

A valid driver's license is preferred.

WHAT YOU GET

$16–$20 PER HOUR

Pay is based on experience and skill level.

We'll teach you.

As you gain experience, you'll learn how to use tools, install countertops, solve problems, work with customers, and take on more responsibility.

The goal is to help the right person develop into a skilled installer and eventually a Lead Installer.
