Job Summary:
The Counter Sales Associate is responsible for driving sales and ensuring an exceptional customer experience through daily store operations and warehouse support. This role is primarily a warehouse-focused position (80%) with additional responsibilities in customer service, inventory management, and sales support in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive sales and ensure an exceptional customer experience through daily store operations and expert product knowledge
Manage inventory and record shipments
Maintain the store's appearance
Perform occasional managerial tasks such as scheduling, ordering, and overseeing opening and closing procedures
Support warehouse operations including loading customer/dealer vehicles
Operate forklifts (electric sit down/stand up and propane)
Handle basic customer service and phone interactions
Perform cycle counts and inventory tracking
Required Experience:
High school diploma or GED required
Heavy warehouse experience required
Forklift experience required (electric sit down/stand up and propane)
Ability to load customer/dealer vehicles safely
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong customer service demeanor
