Counter Sales Associate I

Hiring a Counter Sales Associate to support an HVAC Manufacturing Organization that is the leader in climate control products. This is a Customer Service focused role that will answer phone calls and assist customers as they come into the store and look up parts etc. You will also perform shipping and receiving of parts and will use a forklift a few times a week.

LOCATION: Baton Rouge, LA 70809
POSITION: Right to Hire
PAY RATE: 16.00 hour
HOURS: 7:30am to 4:30pm M-F
  • Seeking someone that is Customer Service focused that can answer phone and assist customers, look up parts etc.
  • Under direct supervision, evaluates customers needs and makes product/service recommendations accordingly. Responsible ensuring proper stocking of Lennox-branded and other HVAC-related products and supplies.
  • Assists in unloading products and deliveries.
  • Effectively communicates features, benefits, and warranty policy information to customers.
  • Follows all safety, health and security and environmental standards.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED - Required
  • Counter Sales or Customer Service experience
  • Computer skills to look up parts for customers and customer orders
  • Forklift skills - preferred (Low use, only used 2 or 3 times a week)
  • Good oral and written communications skills.
  • Good computer skills required: Microsoft applications.
  • General HVAC knowledge
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
