    Description

    Core Responsibilities:
     Oversee daily count room activities, including bill acceptor drops, cash counting, reconciliation, and transfers to the main bank.
     Supervise Count Team Supervisors and all count/drop team members; provide leadership and direction across shifts.
     Develop, manage, and distribute team schedules; forecast staffing needs based on operational volume and promotions.
     Ensure full compliance with New York State Gaming Commission regulations, Gaming Operating Procedures, internal controls, and security/surveillance protocols.
     Operate and maintain cash counting machines; coordinate with vendors/technicians for repairs, upgrades, and maintenance.
     Reconcile daily cash counts to central system reports; investigate and resolve variances promptly.
     Perform and oversee manual cash counts; prepare and secure cash for transfer.
     Train supervisors and team members on procedures, regulations, equipment, and safety protocols.
     Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and implement approved improvements.
     Maintain a safe, clean, and organized count room environment.
     Role model the company’s guest service program; treat associates and any interacting guests professionally.
     Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and corrective actions as needed.
     Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications/Requirements:
     High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
     Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in count/drop operations or cash handling required or equivalent.
     Extensive cash handling experience, including large transactions.
     Proven experience with cash counting equipment and reconciliation processes.
     Must be able to obtain and maintain a New York State Gaming License.
