Position Details

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE: Provides counseling and guidance to support students' academic,

personal, social, and career development, including educational planning, dual enrollment, and

post-secondary transitions. Collaborates with students, families, schools, colleges, and support

services to promote student success and college and career readiness.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Required:

• M.A. degree in school counseling
• Three years experience in secondary counseling

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, and REGISTRATIONS

• Valid Michigan teaching certificate with appropriate counseling endorsement OR Valid Michigan

School Counselor license
