The Home of Grace Counselor position will work within a team to provide individual and group counseling services, as well as classroom instruction from a Biblical perspective to individuals enrolled in the Home of Grace Christian Recovery Program.
Our preference is, but is not limited to, a team player who is trained in addiction counseling and who is gifted in areas of communication, teaching, and discernment. Our need is for a counselor who is also theologically trained and has a ministry mindset, being passionate about accurately applying Gospel truths to clients who suffer from addiction. One who has good documentation skills, is comfortable using technology, and is familiar with H.I.P.A.A. laws.
Maintain a caseload of up to 12 clients
Meet with clients individually for one hour each week
Teach assigned classes and workshops

Certifications
LCSW or LPC preferred
CADC I or pursuit Christian Counseling Certification
Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; Master's preferred.

Hours
Full-time, 40 hours
At a minimum, all counselors are required to be actively working toward a CADC (Certified Drug Alcohol Counselor) certification. The level awarded is based on the counselor's education degree in a related field such as psychology, human services, social work, or other mental health focus.
CADC= high school diploma
CADC I= Bachelor's Degree in a related field
CADC II= Master's Degree in a related field
