Position Summary The Counsel position will serve as a key member supporting the organization's legal needs by managing the contracts team and other legal-related processes and assisting the General Counsel in providing legal advice to business stakeholders.Your Contributions and Responsibilities Support the General Counsel in advising the organization in connection with a variety of legal and contractual matters, including reviewing and advising on agreements, contracts, and other legal matters.Oversee and coordinate the work of paralegals providing high-quality support to partners and employees with respect to preparation of the organization's client engagement letters, master services agreements, responses to requests for proposals, subcontractor agreements, Kovel agreements, non-disclosure agreements, conflict waivers, and other vendor and client-related agreements.Oversight of the organization's subpoena compliance and other court-related matters, including strategy and ensuring the team maintains accurate information in the case management system.Review leases for the organization's premises throughout the country and/or oversee related work performed by staff or outside counsel.Management of the organization's intellectual property.Effectively manage outside counsel's use of time and resources in any outsourced legal matters.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Your Background and Skills Juris Doctor degree with three to seven years of relevant experience as a practicing attorney at a law firm or in-house corporate attorney required. Must be a member in good standing with the Bar in one U.S. state or territory.
