    Introduction:


    Ashford Hall is seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team and provide occupational therapy services to residents in our skilled nursing facility. The Occupational Therapist Assistant will be responsible for assisting the occupational therapist with the implementation of treatment plans, conducting assessments and evaluations, and providing ongoing support and monitoring to ensure progress. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and be able to work collaboratively with other team members.


    Responsibilities:


    • Assist the occupational therapist with the implementation of treatment plans, including assisting with therapeutic activities and exercises

    • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify residents' needs and goals, including gathering relevant information and data

    • Provide ongoing support and monitoring to ensure progress, including conducting follow-up meetings and check-ins

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of residents' interactions and progress

    • Collaborate with other team members to ensure continuity of care and services

    • Other duties as assigned


    Qualifications:


    • Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant or a related field

    • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist Assistant or in a similar role

    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

    • Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload

    • Ability to work collaboratively with other team members

    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a plus
