    Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – PRN

    WEEKEND PRN NEED

    Parkwood Village in Bedford, TX is seeking a compassionate PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a COTA who is passionate about helping residents improve independence, safety, and quality of life. Working under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, you will provide personalized, resident-centered care that supports progress in daily activities and overall function.     Key Responsibilities

    • Provide skilled occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
    • Deliver treatment in accordance with established plans of care
    • Support residents with activities of daily living and functional goals
    • Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the Occupational Therapist
    • Educate residents, families, and caregivers
    • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
    • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation

    Qualifications

    • Active Occupational Therapy Assistant state license in good standing
    • Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification
    • Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred
    • Strong communication, clinical, and organizational skills
    • Knowledge of the Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred
