Position Information
Position Title: Costume Studio Assistant Requisition Number: H00010P Position Category: Hourly Campus Location: Weber State University - Ogden, UT Hours per week: 20 or less Months per year: 9 Alternate work schedule: May be required to work some late nights and Saturdays.
Job Summary
Basic Function: Will assist in all duties in the Costume Studio, including cleaning, organization of costume closet, construction of costumes, sewing, cutting, patterning, dying, etc. costume crafts, hats, shoes, specialty items, fittings, and aide to practicum students working in the studio and anything else required to meet the show deadlines.
Note: May be required to work some late nights and Saturdays.
Required Qualifications
Theater Majors required. Must have 1 year of sewing experience. Must know how to work a sewing machine and construct clothing items with minimal assistance. Must be willing to learn more about the construction process and show improvement. Must be willing to organize and clean. Must be willing to work some evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications

The conditions the worker will be subject to in this position: The worker is subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
