Job Description & Skill Requirements:
Key responsibilities:
- Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles to evaluate proposed designs and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations teams during early product development and design planning.
- Participate in Design Reviews, DFM/DFA reviews, and cross-functional development meetings to provide manufacturing input.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with Cost Engineering / Should-Cost / Product Costing VA/VE, DFM/DFA, Target Costing
- Functional understanding of 3D CAD software (Creo Preferred)
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Electrical Engineering
7-10 years of industry experience
