We are currently seeking an analytical and detail-oriented professional for the following role:

Position: Costing Engineer

Location: Fort Wayne, IN

This Costing Engineer will support the Costing Department by performing the following duties:

Key Responsibilities

Generate new part cost calculations, existing part cost calculations, and cost breakdowns as needed.
Create and utilize Excel spreadsheets to perform complex calculations, track data, and publish reports.
Estimate the cost to produce a part for a new manufacturing process.
Create Bill of Materials and routings in ERP system.
Investigate and correct ERP costing errors.
Work with the Industrial Engineer Department to estimate tooling costs.
Work with the Industrial Engineering Department at VOSS Automotive Mexico to keep the cycle time and setup time tables/files up-to-date for existing and new part processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering and 2 years' experience
Experience with manufacturing and assembly processes
