Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field; experience and specialty in electrical and mechanical cost strategies; experience with cost control in the commercial, institutional, and Industrial sectors concentrating on vertical construction; experience with conceptual and detailed measurement and pricing; experience with the Construction Manager/General Contractor (CMGC) and General Contractor/Construction Manager (GCCM) process; and experience with estimating software systems, onscreen takeoff software, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) required.

    Salary Range: $78,000.00/yr. to $98,500.00/yr.

    In Chicago, Illinois, Rider Levett Bucknall Ltd. seeks a Cost Estimator to be responsible for all independent construction cost control functions for review of the construction projects change orders, including complete estimates, value analysis, schedule of values, comparisons, assisting with feasibility studies, and historical cost reports; perform cost control functions on multiple projects of varying complexity simultaneously; and identify opportunities within projects that will add value and help successfully accomplish the clients’ desired project outcomes.
