    Description

    We are partnered with a leading construction organization supporting large-scale, mission-critical data center projects across the United States. With a strong focus on operational excellence, financial controls, and project execution, they are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Cost Analyst to support project cost management and data integrity initiatives. The Construction Cost Analyst serves as a critical control point within the project cost management process.

    The ideal candidate will have experience in construction cost control, project accounting, or financial operations within the construction industry. This individual will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the confidence to challenge and reject cost items that do not meet established standards.

    Responsibilities:
    Review project costs including invoices, commitments, and change orders
    Reject costs that are: Incorrectly coded, Incomplete or missing required documentation, Unsupported by contract or approved change orders, Outside approved project scope or funding authorization
    Initiate and manage change events within Procore
    Validate that project costs are entered accurately and timely
    Ensure all costs are coded to the appropriate project cost structure
    Review supporting cost data used for Estimate-to-Complete (ETC) projections
    Maintain logs of rejected costs and identified issues

    Review and validate project cost transactions


    Qualifications:
    2-5+ years of experience in construction cost control, project accounting, cost management, or a related field
    Experience supporting large-scale commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or data center construction projects preferred
    Strong understanding of construction contracts, change management processes, and project cost controls
    Ability to review financial documentation with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
    Procore experience, including Cost Management and Change Events modules
    ERP systems such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, JD Edwards, Oracle, or similar platforms
