Cost Manufacturing Analyst
Our client is seeking a Cost Manufacturing Analyst to support plant operations and senior leadership through financial analysis, cost accounting, budgeting, and forecasting. This role is ideal for an accounting or finance professional who enjoys partnering with operations, analyzing manufacturing performance, and turning data into actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing Cost Analysis
- Monitor plant performance against operating plans and key cost drivers
- Analyze manufacturing costs, standard costing, and variances
- Identify trends and recommend opportunities for operational improvement
- Support tolling and manufacturing cost reporting activities
Financial Reporting & Forecasting
- Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analyses
- Support monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes
- Assist with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
- Deliver financial insights to plant and corporate stakeholders
Capital & Strategic Planning
- Support capital spending and cash flow forecasting
- Prepare financial analyses for major capital projects
- Assist with business cases and operational improvement initiatives
- Partner with leadership on strategic decision-making efforts
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in Financial Analysis, FP&A, Cost Accounting, or Manufacturing Finance
- Understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and manufacturing accounting
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills
Preferred:
- Manufacturing or plant accounting experience
- Experience with SAP, OneStream, Planful, or Power BI
- MBA or progress toward an advanced degree
- Experience supporting operational or plant leadership teams
