Cost Accountant Manufacturing
Salary: $90,000$100,000 + Annual Profit Sharing (300400% payout)
Schedule: On-site with hybrid option (Fridays remote)

We are looking for a cost accountant ready to make a measurable impact. This plant plays a key role in the U.S. manufacturing footprint, and your work will directly support leadership decisions, cost savings, and financial growth.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own month-end close and prepare monthly financial reports
- Maintain and improve the standard cost system: labor, materials, and overhead
- Ensure routing and Bill of Materials (BOMs) are accurate for costing
- Oversee annual physical inventory and manage cycle counting
- Research part cost issues and assist in setting costs for parts outside the quoting system
- Analyze cost and budget variances and communicate findings
- Support plant leadership with forecasts, budgeting, and cost controls
- Route and manage AP invoices using internal software
- Ensure proper capitalization of assets and track capital expenditures
- Monitor and report on continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing setting
- Strong ERP experience (Oracle preferred)
- Self-starter who works well independently and cross-functionally
