We are seeking an experienced Cost Accountant with a strong background in manufacturing, product costing, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) for a client located in Liberty, SC.

  • Review daily product costing transactions and resolve costing "kick-outs" resulting from incomplete Bill of Materials (BOM) setups.
  • Calculate and maintain standard costs for new and existing products.
  • Cost new products across multiple manufacturing sites and legal entities within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
  • Run daily costing batches and monitor costing accuracy in D365.
  • Perform product cost simulations and update the quoting system to reflect significant material and manufacturing cost changes throughout the year.
  • Analyze product costs to ensure accurate inventory valuation and financial reporting.
  • Support import costing activities, including tariff and duty calculations.
  • Work closely with operations, engineering, procurement, and finance to maintain accurate product cost data.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of Cost Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience with Product Costing and Standard Costing is required.
  • Hands-on experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is strongly preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of manufacturing accounting, inventory costing, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and routing structures.
  • Experience with cost analysis, cost simulations, and product cost maintenance.
  • Working knowledge of import costing, including tariffs and duties.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay: $30.00–$38.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
