We are partnering with a growing manufacturer seeking a Cost Accountant to support plant operations and drive financial performance through detailed cost analysis. - Base salary: $75,000-$90,000

Key Responsibilities for the Cost Accountant
- Perform material, labor, and overhead cost analysis
- Analyze manufacturing variances and identify root causes
- Monitor and report on scrap, yield, and production performance metrics
- Support inventory accounting and cost accounting processes
- Assist with capital expenditure tracking and accounting
- Prepare financial reports and cost analyses for management
- Partner with production and operations leaders to identify cost reduction opportunities
- Support month-end close activities related to manufacturing accounting
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through financial insights and analysis
Qualifications for the Cost Accountant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing cost accounting experience
- Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory accounting, and variance analysis
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications for the Cost Accountant
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
- Experience supporting multiple manufacturing locations
- Background in inventory management and operational finance
