    Required evidence:
    • 15+ years in materials, corrosion, mechanical, chemical or metallurgical engineering; advanced degree or recognized professional certification preferred.
    • Personal responsibility for materials-of-construction selection in acidic, alkaline, chloride, fluoride, slurry, high-temperature or otherwise aggressive process environments.
    • Demonstrated corrosion-circuit definition, degradation-mechanism review, inspection/monitoring strategy, fitness-for-service or remaining-life assessment.
    • Experience with liners, coatings, FRP, alloys, refractory/brick systems, storage and transfer systems, spill containment and environmental interfaces.
    • Ability to connect process chemistry and operating envelopes to CAPEX/OPEX, maintainability, availability and residual technical risk.
    • Ability to serve as a technical lead, alternate or independent reviewer based on independence and OCI facts.

Engagement is remote, project-based and contingent on contract award and assignment authorization; no minimum work is guaranteed. Limited travel to U.S. and international locations subject to U.S. Department of State Level 1 or Level 2 Travel Advisories may be required.

Applicants should be currently U.S.-based and must self-attest that they are a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident. Axyde will separately confirm availability, travel, résumé-use authorization and OCI facts before proposal selection. Submit a current résumé and one or two nonconfidential projects identifying process chemistry, facility stage, personal role, decisions and outcome.
