Registered Nurse (RN) –Phoenix,AZ

Local Pay: $54.00/hour - W2
Travel Package: Travel Rate (based on 36 hours): Hourly $20.40, Stipend (Lodging $1,001.00 + M&I $427.00) = $1,428.00,  Total Comp: $2,162.
Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.

Shift Details:


  • Must commit to 3x12-hour shifts weekly


Nursing Specialty: RN Corrections
Registered Nurse (RN)  Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Provides assessments and implements appropriate nursing interventions. 

  • Monitors patient’s progress as appropriate and evaluates outcomes. 

  • Performs standard nursing procedures appropriate to patient needs. 

  • Completes and processes all required documentation, including plans and discharge planning, in a comprehensive, objective, and legible manner. 

  • Provides health-related education to patients as appropriate to patient needs. 

  • Administers medication and addresses other pharmacological needs as protocol dictates, and performs basic intravenous and phlebotomy skills as required.

  • Participates in the orientation and training of new employees, contract staff, students, and others as needed.


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Current, valid, and unrestricted AZ license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

  • Minimum of one (1) year related experience within the last 3 years

  • Valid BLS

  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing

  • Additional certifications may be required

  • Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

  • Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g.,BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
