Shift Details- Full Time Schedules
- Some weekends may be required
- 8 or 12 hour shifts available depending on the facility
- Contract Position (flexible with shift availability is a plus)
- Day, Mon-Fri
- 8:00am 4:30pm
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, and functional abilities.
Instruct patients in therapeutic exercises and the proper use of assistive devices.
Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
Document treatments, patient responses, and progress accurately and promptly.
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
Maintain a safe and clean therapy environment and equipment.
Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to support patient recovery goals.
Follow all facility policies and applicable regulatory standards.
Minimum Qualifications
Current, valid, and unrestricted VA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
