Shift Details:

  • 8.00am - 4.30pm

  • Monday - Friday
Nurse Practitioner (NP)  Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, examinations, and medical histories.

  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic health conditions.

  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results.

  • Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans within scope of practice.

  • Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment options, and health maintenance.

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

  • Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).

  • Promote preventive care and wellness through patient education and screenings.

  • Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, facility policies, and regulatory standards.

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Current, valid, and unrestricted Virginia  license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Nurse Practitioner.

  • Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

  • Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
