We are looking for a skilled, safety-minded Journeyman Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will lead electrical installations for residential solar PV systems, mentor field crews, and serve as a crucial driver of high-quality renewable energy solutions across Texas.
Key Responsibilities
- Solar PV Installation: Lead the installation of residential solar PV systems, including electrical service equipment, wiring, and devices, strictly adhering to project specifications and engineering designs.
- Precision Conduit Bending: Showcase expertise in routing and bending conduit with precision and professional finesse.
- Code Compliance: Execute all work in strict compliance with current National Electrical Code (NEC) and local jurisdictional requirements.
- Inspection Management: Coordinate and lead site visits with local inspectors, clearly communicating project details to guarantee smooth sign-offs.
- Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Systematically troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues and PV system performance anomalies in the field.
- Site Operations & Safety: Enforce strict safety protocols, promote quality workmanship, and maintain a secure, productive environment for all crew members.
- Project & Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Territory Project Manager and Logistics Coordinators to maintain schedule efficiency, report project updates, and resolve field escalations promptness.
- Client Service & Driving: Safely operate a company-provided service vehicle to client sites, maintaining a prompt and professional presence that guarantees customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Licensing: Active Journeyman Electrician License (State of Texas).
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience: Hands-on experience in residential or industrial electrical work/construction (solar experience is a strong plus, but general industrial/commercial/residential experience is valued!).
- Skills: Strong proficiency in conduit bending, system troubleshooting, and reading electrical schematics.
- Availability: Ability to work a standard Tuesday through Saturday shift.
