POSITION: Corporation Computer Technician
JOB DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the Director of Technology, the Corporation Computer Technician supports the school corporations ongoing technology education initiatives. Key responsibilities at both the building and district levels include:
Deliver customer service-focused technical support to administrators, staff, and students via helpdesk tickets, phone, and email.
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, operating systems, networks, and peripherals.
Facilitate the integration of new technology across the organization to ensure seamless adoption by all users.
Contribute to staff development and actively participate as a member of the corporation technology team.
Support the Director of Technology in researching and implementing major IT initiatives, such as network infrastructure upgrades,
UPS battery deployments, physical security installations, and structured cabling drops.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven troubleshooting and repair skills for Windows Computers, Google Chromebooks, peripherals, and operating systems.
Working knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications.
Background or training in voice, data, and video technologies, or a strong willingness to learn and support these systems.
Experience in an educational setting (preferred), including familiarity with Student Information Systems (SIS), standardized testing platforms, and
instructional software.
CompTIA A+ Certification (or equivalent education and hands-on experience).
Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to effectively prioritize workloads and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
