Position Overview

We are seeking a Corporate Trainer to join our team. The Corporate Trainer performs professional-level work designing and delivering training programs across the organization—from new-hire onboarding and SOP rollout to department-specific skill development. This role owns training content creation, manages all training records through the company's Learning Management System (LMS), and serves as either the primary instructor or a coordination partner to subject matter experts depending on the program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designs, develops, and delivers training programs supporting new-hire onboarding, SOP adoption, and department-specific skill development across the organization.

  • Creates and maintains training content, materials, and curricula; partners with subject matter experts to build syllabi, presentation materials, and class schedules when programs require specialized knowledge.

  • Conducts training sessions, workshops, and demonstrations to support employee skill acquisition and development.

  • Tracks and maintains all internal and external training records and certifications through the Learning Management System (LMS).

  • Monitors training effectiveness through assessments, needs analyses, and management feedback; recommends and implements program adjustments as needed.

  • Provides ongoing coaching and guidance to support employee professional growth and career development.

  • Ensures training programs align with company SOPs, standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's degree in education, human resources, business administration, or a closely related field.

  • Four (4) years of experience developing and implementing training programs, or a closely related field.

Preferred:

  • Master's degree.

OR an equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience that results in the successful performance of the job. Additional education may substitute for required experience on one-for-one year basis or vice versa.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of principles and practices of skill assessment, instructional design, and training program delivery.

  • Strong knowledge of skill development and classroom facilitation techniques.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to motivate and engage trainees across varied learning environments.

  • Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training-tracking technologies.

Work Environment

  • Sedentary work environment. Work performed generally in office settings and requires limited physical, ergonomic, or emotional efforts. Work may generally require walking, standing, bending, kneeling, carrying light loads and lifting no more than 10 pounds.
