Tax Manager
Salary: $130,000 - $145,000 base
Location: 100% Remote. Employees work standard business hours in their local time zone. Occasional collaboration with West Coast stakeholders may be required. Travel approximately 20% or less.

Key Responsibilities for the Tax Manager:
• Oversee federal, state, and local tax compliance, filings, and reporting activities.
• Prepare and review corporate tax provisions, reconciliations, journal entries, and related disclosures.
• Manage sales and use tax, excise tax, franchise tax, property tax, payroll tax, and other tax obligations.
• Partner with leadership on tax planning, business initiatives, acquisitions, and expansion opportunities.
• Coordinate tax audits, regulatory examinations, and external advisor relationships.
• Develop and enhance tax processes, controls, reporting systems, and compliance procedures.
Qualifications for the Tax Manager:
• 5+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting and/or corporate tax.
• Strong experience preparing and completing corporate tax provisions and compliance activities.
• Experience with multi-state tax compliance and reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; CPA preferred.
