Description

The Corporate Support Account Executive is responsible for developing and managing corporate underwriting, sponsorship, and partnership opportunities that generate revenue while advancing the organization's mission. This role focuses on business development, client relationship management, sponsorship sales, account stewardship, proposal development, and campaign execution across broadcast, digital, and event platforms. The position plays a key role in cultivating strategic partnerships, identifying new revenue opportunities, and aligning sponsor objectives with organizational priorities. Partners closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop customized underwriting solutions, ensure compliance with FCC underwriting guidelines, and deliver exceptional client service.

Salary – $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 annually with uncapped commission structure

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field.
  • Three or more years of professional sales experience working in journalism and/or public media organizations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Teams and integrated Microsoft apps)
  • Experience with Audience Analytics and Social platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts, prioritize competing deadlines, and collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Passion for public media, community engagement, and building partnerships that advance organizational mission and impact.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Typical Duties
  • Develops and secures corporate underwriting, sponsorship, and partnership opportunities across broadcast, digital, and event platforms.
  • Identifies, prospects and cultivates relationships with local, regional and national businesses to generate new revenue opportunities and achieve established revenue goals.
  • Develops customized sponsorship packages and strategic marketing solutions aligned with client objectives and audience demographics.
  • Delivers effective presentations, proposals and sponsorship recommendations based on market trends, audience insights and organizational initiatives
  • Serves as the primary relationship manager for assigned sponsor accounts and provide a high level of client service.
  • Builds and maintains long-term relationships with sponsors and community partners to support retention, renewals and revenue growth.
  • Conducts ongoing outreach and strategic account management with current and prospective sponsors.
  • Collaborates with clients and internal teams to develop underwriting copy and sponsorship materials that comply with FCC regulations and organizational standards.
  • Coordinates sponsorship fulfillment, asset tracking, campaign execution and deliverables across departments.
  • Ensures timely and accurate communication between sponsors and internal stakeholders regarding campaign expectations and performance.
  • Works collaboratively with programming, marketing, production, traffic, events and accounting teams to support sponsorship initiatives and organizational revenue objectives.
  • Participates in station events, fundraising activities, sponsorship functions and community engagement opportunities as assigned.
  • Maintains accurate client records, contracts, sales activity and revenue forecasting information within the CRM or database system.
  • Prepares and submits reports related to sales performance, pipeline activity, revenue projections and market conditions.
  • Manages sponsorship agreements, sales documentation and related administrative processes in accordance with organizational procedures.
  • Monitors market trends, competitor activity and industry developments to identify strategic opportunities for growth.
