As a Corporate Supply Chain Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting one of the nation''s leading branded food companies. One Supply Chain
The One Supply Chain organization connects every step required to bring Hormel Foods products from suppliers to consumers. This team collaborates across procurement, manufacturing, transportation, warehousing, demand planning, quality, engineering, and research and development to ensure products are produced efficiently and delivered to customers on time. With a global network supporting iconic brands, Supply Chain plays a critical role in driving customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and business growth.
Responsibilities:

Gain hands-on experience supporting end-to-end supply planning activities, including inventory management, production scheduling, supply and demand balancing, service performance monitoring, and shortage analysis.
Participate in daily planning meetings, help maintain scheduling and planning systems, analyze data to identify risks and opportunities, support inventory optimization efforts, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
This role provides exposure to the decision-making processes that drive inventory, production, customer service, and overall supply chain performance.

As part of our long-term Supply Chain talent strategy, high-performing interns may be eligible for consideration for a Supply Chain Rotational Associate position upon graduation, providing development across multiple supply chain functions before transitioning into a permanent analyst-level role, subject to business needs and performance.

Duration
Our summer internship program runs 10-12 weeks and starts in late May and ends in early August.
Hours
This is a temporary, full-time, hourly position. Interns can expect to work approximately 40 hours per week and may be eligible for overtime based on business needs.
