The right candidate will engage in the management and implementation of national policy, practice, and procedure with respect to compliance with the Clean Water Act, and specifically, the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination Systems (NPDES) permitting program. This role will also support the National Stormwater Manager with NPDES related permitting and enforcement concerns.

Education and/or Experience
Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
Three or more years related experience
Must have a vehicle and a valid driver's license
Possess strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Possess at least one of the following national stormwater certifications (or the ability to obtain at least one of the following certifications within one year of beginning employment) - Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC), Certified Erosion, Sediment, and Stormwater Inspector (CESSWI), Certified Professional in Stormwater Quality (CPSWQ), and Certified Inspector of Sediment and Erosion Control (CISEC)
Ability to acquire state level certifications as necessary
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
Proficiency with MS Office and email
Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision
The noise level is generally moderate
