Base salary starts at $195,000 for South Florida and scales significantly based on experience level and current compensation. The firm is not lockstep and has made competitive offers to candidates on the Cravath/Milbank scale, particularly for senior associates and junior partners. Discretionary bonus included.

About this Role

We are looking for a Corporate Senior Associate or Junior Partner with 6-15 years of experience to join a growing, Florida-rooted AmLaw 200 firm and work directly with practice group leadership on sophisticated transactional matters.

This is a high-visibility role at a firm entering an aggressive growth phase, offering a true partnership track and meaningful client interaction without the bureaucracy of larger firms.

What You'll Be Doing

• Handle mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, and fund formation matters.
• Work closely with practice group leadership and the corporate team on complex transactions.
• Manage general contractual matters for major institutional and corporate clients.
• Develop your own client relationships with the support of a flexible rate structure.
• Contribute to the firm's strategic growth plan as a key member of the Miami corporate group.

Key Requirements

• 6-15 years of relevant corporate/M&A experience (private equity experience is a plus).

• Admitted to the Florida Bar.

• Strong academic credentials or equivalent top-firm experience (a combination of both is ideal).

• Stable career history with no excessive job hopping.

• Experience at a reputable firm (AmLaw 200 or well-known regional firm preferred).

• Experience in mergers & acquisitions and general corporate transactions.

• Experience with joint ventures or fundraising/fund formation documentation.

• Entrepreneurial and self-directed, with the ability to thrive without heavy management oversight.

• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Miami.

• Florida ties or connections are preferred.

Compensation

• Base salary: $195,000-$350,000

• Discretionary bonus

Work Arrangement

• Full-time

• On-site 

  4-5 days per week in the Miami office (flexibility considered on a case-by-case basis)
