Provide comprehensive safety and security for our employees, visitors, and facilities.
Your shift begins in the Euclid Security Operations Center. Screens come alive as you verify credentials for employees and guests, manage access control, and issue temporary ID badges. You keep one ear on constant radio traffic while overseeing fire and security alarm panels for the Euclid campus—corporate handles sales offices and distribution centers, and the Mentor site monitors itself.
When a call hits our internal 911 lines—2222 or 6222—you pivot into emergency response mode, serving as the Incident Command dispatch hub. You deploy ETM’s, coordinate with local police and fire, and keep stakeholders informed until the scene is secure.
Between alarms, you patrol the property, monitor surveillance cameras, and enforce parking guidelines. Some days you’ll cover the truck entrance, verifying shipping and receiving documentation, assigning docks, issuing gate passes, and properly scaling raw materials and scrap for vehicles entering restricted areas. You’ll also keep an eye on railroad traffic moving in and out of the property.
Throughout it all, you interpret and apply company and departmental policies, represent Lincoln Electric professionally to every guest, and take on additional responsibilities aligned with our RISE Strategy.
